Pure Indoor Air

Home indoor air pollutants come from a variety of sources including but not limited to gases released from furnishings such as pressed wood products, household cleaners, and contaminants that build up in the HVAC system.
Some people may be allergic to the multitudes of pollutants in the air. The effects of allergies can be lessened or eliminated by improving indoor air quality.

One of the easiest ways to improve indoor air quality in the home or other building is to introduce fresh air into the space. In modern buildings this is done mechanically by way of the HVAC system and in homes is can be done by opening a window.

The opening of a window to introduce fresh outdoor air is a great and inexpensive way to dilute the polluted indoor air. This may not always be an option. Depending on location and time of year it may be too cold or too hot outside to open a window. Also, if you live in an urban environment you may not want the noise or smells from the street coming into your home or office.

For those reasons, and more, people suffer silently with allergies and breathing in impure air. In the home this can created an uncomfortable living environment. In an office productivity may be hurt as workers feel tired from increased carbon dioxide levels.
